A digital artist of more than six years who dreams of becoming a cartoonist and musician in the future. Along with drawing and music, I also write literature and had been writing for more than four years.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT DOES "MEKA" MEAN AND WHY DO YOU REFER TO YOURSELF AS THAT?
"Meka" came from a name generator I have used since my first time using Twitter back in December 2019. I honestly do not know what it means but I use this as a screen name and, better yet, a unique brand name.
WERE YOU SELF-TAUGHT OR DID YOU ENROLL IN AN ARTS SCHOOL?
I am a self-taught digital artist. I have never enrolled at a school specifically for art or joined any clubs related to that. I usually prefer to learn drawing on my own and I look at other artists' works and tutorials to use them as references.
WHAT TOOLS AND PROGRAMS DO YOU USE?
I use my eight year old Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet that my parents gave me back in 2012. I still do not have plans to upgrade my tablet.
I currently use Paint Tool SAI and GIMP 2.8.14 to do my work. Hopefully, if I have earned enough cash, I will be able to try and purchase other programs.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BE A PART OF THE ART COMMUNITY?
Ever since I was a child, I love watching cartoons and I still do. I tried drawing cartoon characters during my spare time and showing them to my parents. I also drew comics before and shared my work to my classmates.
Music also inspires me to create art from the mind to the digital canvas. I listen to music daily to power myself up and get going. Music fuels my imagination and I love dreaming of my and other people's characters in a music video.
DO YOU HAVE PLANS ON GETTING INTO THE ANIMATION INDUSTRY?
In my dreams, yes. I would love to make my own show come to life. Unfortunately, the place I live in has only a few opportunities for aspiring cartoonists so I am taking up Computer Science to keep my options open for future employers.
DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS, ART TRADES, OR COMMISSIONS?
I do not take requests and never will. Art trades? It depends on the person requesting it since I had to look through their works first before making an agreement. Lastly, yes! I do take commissions. Click here to check out my commissions.

If you wish to post my work on your website, blog, Youtube video, social media, etc, please do not hesitate to ask for my permission. It would be great for my works to be shared across the globe but always be sure to credit me and provide a link to this website. DO NOT:
Attempt to edit my work and remove the watermark;
Claim my work as your own;
Use my work with the intent to harm others; and
Make profit out of my work(s).

WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE TO OTHER COMMISSIONERS?
Other than the art style, I can use music as reference for a piece. How? I listen to the song that corresponds to what I am drawing and try to match the vibes of both to come up with a great piece where the art matches the music.
WHO IS THIS BLACK BIRD WEARING A PAPER HAT THAT YOU ALWAYS USE?
The black bird's name is "Moxie Bellamy" and he is my one-and-only sona and mascot. You can read more about this character by clicking on the link.
CAN I DRAW ART OF YOU/YOUR CHARACTERS? WHAT ARE YOUR LIMITATIONS?
Of course you can draw art for me. However, please refrain from drawing my persona and instead use my sona/mascot. For limitations, please do not draw my characters performing:
Malicious activities (incest, interacting sexually with underage characters. etc);
Fetish work;
Politics;
Religion;
Sensitive topics (self-harm, suicide, and the like); and
To spread hatred and encourage harassment.
You are free to do body horror, gore, nudity, and NSFW of my characters.
